Thank you for visiting Cardamom Finnish Cottage Bakery! 

My name is Heather, the owner and baker here.  This bakery opened in my home kitchen in 2011 after Senate Bill 81 was signed into law, this allows passionate bakers such as myself to sell baked goods from home.  I'm Finnish-French-Canadian and take after my grandmothers in the kitchen.  They inspired me to develop my baking skills from a young age, and now I would like to share the results with you!

Many people are concerned about finding local purveyors of their favorite foods, this is no longer limited to farmer's markets with the inception of home bakeries in Texas.  While we cannot sell at your local farmer's markets, we do offer our services from home.  I'm tree nut free due to allergies and can offer a variety of breads, cookies, and cakes without tree nuts.  I see the growing need for gluten-free treats as well, and this is an area that is under development.  My first success has been the Raspberry Bars that are nut and gluten free!

While my home is not a store-front, all orders are baked Friday through Sunday.  If you need something sooner, I can try to accomodate your request.  Please call me at (512) 909-7919, email me, or place your order here.  I'm located in south east Round Rock, you will receive directions upon order confirmation.  Deliveries can be arranged upon pre-payment at the bakery (minimum order applies).
